Hi I just started playing the game.
After hours of game play and matching an breeding I discovered that if you have a Twin-fin and a Silky you can (eventually) breed all other fins of that type ... although it might take a while.

Then of course you can start cross breeding with a few others to get the Silky and Twin-fin of another species, as you cannot breed those within a species...
