if i gave the statue of king lionel as a batteringram for the militant squirrels, does that mean i won't be able to give it back to the elves? i've searched for the statue but i can't find it anymore...

You can only gove the statue to either the Elves, or the Squirrels. So choose wisely.
The Battering ram has no effect on the game, so i'd give it to the elves.
You cant find it, because you've already given it to someone already.
I found that if I gave the staue of king Lional to the squirrles first than you can buy it back again from the pirate who sells picklocks and then give the statue to the elves
