I've been doing some research on HDMI cables (the cable for the High-Def connection to your TV). At first, I spent $100 on a cable at Radio Shack because I thought I needed it. When I figured out I could use the component cable, I took the HDMI cable back. But now I need the component connection for my DVD player. I researched HDMI and found out out you cna get them for $2.50 on Amazon. And since its a digital connection, the gold connectors don't matter like they do with analog cables.
