glitch in game?

I recently bought this game, but it takes ingredients where there are no factories or won't make what I want it to. I have Windows 7. Does anyone know if there's a compatibility problem, or what the problem could be? If so, please email me at bandm80916@aol.com. I love the game, but it does get frustrating. Thanks!

Have you had the ingredients for a long time? I don't know about the other part. The ingredients will deteriorate/expire after a while in game
