How do I keep my trophies?

After finishing 4 levels, I receive a trophy, and the game says to collect all 6. But in order to go for the next trophy, I have to start another game; then the question comes up, "Are you sure you want to reset your current game?" or something like that, and if I do, I lose my trophy. What do I need to do to keep my trophies??
