How do I get the halloween items

They have bat wings spider Web frames and pumpkins, but I have no clue on how to get them. Or where to look

To get them you must complete challenges just like you do anyway but when there are awards issued you will see the other items

I'm having the hardest time getting the orange candies. Even when I click through on the challenge. Any tips or tricks?
