When Trina ask you to find the magic shard how do you find it?

I am wondering the same thing. It brings you to your inventory list

You have to trade your inventory items into shards

Or u get them by completing the Hidden/Object Scene Modes or also trying to catch the butterflies when you see them in your and your friends` Private Rooms.
