Stuck here...can't get enough supplies to build bakery or sawmill. Help please

You have to go to the inventory at the start of the game, click on the hat at the left, then switch the necklace for the bag in the boxes. This gives an extra stone each time one is cleared. This gives you the amount you need to get to the elevator and the woman at the end of the game.
