princes daphnes's room

on mac: even holding the corwn and sceptre of the statue, when im going to place it the whole screen gets dead.
Any solution?

I am having the same issue. I can't go any further in the game. Each time I try to put the crown or scepter on the statue the room goes dark and I have to exit to move on. I'm at a stand still.

I'm having the same problem when I get to this part - I can't place the crown or the sceptre. What to do?? Please help!
