That happened to me when I tried to play with time and speed things up by moving time ahead. I think it might have corrupted the real file that lets time progress. You will have to completely uninstall and reinstall.
you might have a virus TOADALY DUDE
your game may be on pause, hit the spacebar to unpause it.
