Chasing gophers

I've had the gopher appear and tried dropping every person on him, just dropping a person again and again to see if it happens, and nothing. I must be missing something. Help!

When you have children that "play on the lawn" or "play in the dirt" if you praise instead of scold eventually they will chase gophers and you receive that goal.
