gem in the fire

There is a gem in the fire piut and every time I send ome one to pick it up it says the gem is too hot. How do I gt that gem. Is there any way to get the tablets if you missed them when they cleared the debris

i think you have to cool it off by bringing a villager to the water fall. by the way i'm only 8 and i don't really know if it will work
