stuck

I am stuck. In the tavern, the search game keeps having a "hammer" in the list but there is NO hammer, the hint keeps saying there is nothing to do there. So how do I get past there. I restarted my game several times but it's always the same outcome.

I'm stuck in the same place! The Walkthrough says that the solvent will be added to my inventory, but it isn't. I hope someone answers both of us.

Make that three of us. I tried to do an update, thinking that a glitch had been discovered, but so far there is no upgrade. I expect that's what we will see. Sooner or later, but who knows when
