Skull door lock

I have read the note in Victors bedroom and noted the order of the skulls, however when I go down stairs and enter the correct order on the door puzzle it will not open.

That's odd. I have no idea what would cause that unless it's a glitch and/or you have one skull out of place and don't realize it.
