potions in the kitchen

i put the first potion in the glass then had to stop now i've tried to put the next ingredions in from the first potion and nothing happens and i can't start over w/empty jas to start over so now what do i do?

Did you try to empty the glass. It's been a really long time since I played this, but there must be a way to reset the glass. Try using it on the sink?
