Level 8 puzzle

I have gotten to the level 8 puzzle and can not get the doors to open so I can hit the gong and move on. What is the trick?

This has been coming up a lot lately. It seems to be a glitch in some games. What platform are you playing it on?

I am having the same problem with the doors with the symbol-matching puzzle. The symbols on the side panels have stuck in the wrong position and I cannot get the door panels to open. Very disappointing. I downloaded my game from Shockwave.com

another player with the same problem on level 8. moveable outer ring with symbols is stuck and will no longer move. very disappointing, especially at this late stage of the game. Downloaded thru Wildtangent games.
