Level 4 part 8

Walkthrough says to build farm in early stages but only upgrades again it near to the end and I never have enough food to finish in time. Following walkthrough all the way as stated leaves me short on food stone and gold and never have enough wood to buld in timely manner. This walkthrough hasn't been much help. Any ideas?

Sorry, this is actually for Episode 4, level seven!

Just replayed level 7 using the walkthrough. I think the trick is following the last step, which says to aggressively pick berries. I didn't have any trouble finishing in expert time playing in the hard mode, but I was very insistent about picking from both berry bushes.
