stuck child because of a potion

i think that there is something wrong with one of my peoples. in the beginning of the game she had a child and then a few hours later i got an island event that said that she found a potion. i had her drink the potion and she became a child again while still caring for the one she had. when she first had a child there was 99mins left until the kid grew up, and now she has aged back up to 18 but it still says that there are 99mins left until her kid grows up. has anyone had this happen or know if the kid will start growing soon?
